The Recovery Coalition of Dane County
4th Annual Summit
On Friday June 16th 2017 the Recovery Coalition of Dane County held their 4th annual summit at the Lussier family heritage Center. This year’s summit focused on implicit bias, macroaggressions, and race based privileges presented by the YWCA’s race and gender equity division. With over 45 attendee’s presenters Naomi Takahashi and Libby Tucci helped participants understand the definition of implicit bias and its effects, along with the impact and cost of macroaggressions and race-based privilege.
As a coalition we look forward to continuing the tradition of providing member identified topics at future summits.
